Being crazy isn't the same as being mentally ill

A few days ago James Eagan Holmes, 24 years old, opened fire against many people at THE AURORA THEATER, in Denver, Colorado, USA. The shooting took place at midnight premiere of the newest Batman film or thereabouts, since investigators are not sure yet.

This horrible crime reminds us of Anders Behring Breivik, the Norwegian mass murderer. The media calls these guys crazy, and I do not disagree with them (I do not disagree with the media, of course!). they're crazy, with crazed, distorted ideas. But what I want to point out is that being crazy isn't the same as being mentally ill.

We must not forget that people that rebelled against the government in the past were sent to mental institution out of convenience. Aren't the powerful doing the same thing nowadays?

I mean, people with mental illness aren't evil. People who murder masses are. People want to believe that criminals commit heinous crimes because of some mental disease. As if there wasn't evil at all. But THERE IS EVIL, and we psychiatric patients are not bad. James Eagan Holmes and Anders Behring Breivik ARE BAD!!

But there's a question left: do the media, the society and the psychiatrists label mass murderers mentally ill because if we assume the person is mentally sick and dope the person the punishment is more severe?

And I'm always saying here that many people agree with Anders Behring Breivik's political views, many people share Breivik's hatred towards Muslims, for example.

There is a blog, for instance, The Commander Anders Breivik Report, that seems to support Breivik completely.

Check it out and take your own conclusions. But please, show those supporters of hate ideolologies some tolerance, or we will become just like they are [sic], become WHAT they are. All in all they're exercising their Human Right of opinion, as long as they do not commit any violence.

This web site is mostly about human rights, health, music and curious videos from Youtube. If you have any of these your contribution is most welcome.

Links to web sites that sell MEDICATION ARE UNWELCOME.

But if your site is interesting and useful just submit the address, WITHOUT ANY EXTRA ELECTRONIC LANGUAGE, such as HTML or the like. Example, http://pacientepsiquiatrico.com is OK, is accepted. But [url="http://pacientepsiquiatrico.com"] would be considered spam, because of the extra electronic language [url. I'll check it out and link to it if I approve it. Thank you
